Edinburgh - 4 days
It doesn't feel enough. I haven't gotten to soak up the culture, haven't lived a local's life. And I really want to. But it's time to go on. It's time to be where I've come to be.
I hoped for this since before I came to NUS.
I prayed, nervously, so unsure of myself, when I submitted my testimonials and went for interviews.
Frankly, I can't say I aced the interviews. In fact, I think I did terribly at them.
But still, here I am, blessed.
The past 10 days have been wonderful. 10 days to do absolute rubbish. And so, 10 things that I've treasured in the last 10 days:
1) Nori's wonderful company - despite the inedible rice and failed tom yam soup :P

3) Ice skating with Nori :P - She fell, I fell. And she finally managed to move forward without tripping over her own two feet :P
3) Hummingbird's - Birthday cupcake, with a really funny girl at the counter who gave me a 'complimentary ball of musical groove", and helped me sing the happy birthday song for nori :D

4) Skyping/webcasting/msning with Nori's friends - They're all so nice, and we simply ended up suaning Nori together! Rene (whom i still haven't seen), Le si (who is super funny and crazy) and Wan qi (who's a fantastic graphic designer!!)
5) Nandos!!! We hunted high and low for that silly place, but it was soooo worth it!! haha.. yummy yummy chicken!! :D

6) Oliver Twist - It actually wasn't that great for nori i think, but I loved seeing all the songs I've been hearing, live! Food glorious food!!

7) Grocery shopping and lousy cooking - haha.. so fun. So nan chi, but still so fun! Even the curry cup noodles were a flop thanks to noripok (she added too much water)!! We DID manage to cook one chen gong meal though! - Hei bi hiam fried rice with preserved vegetables, butter spinach and drunken boneless chicken wings!
8) Waiting for Nori to get her keys, outside her apartment, in the freeeezing cold for almost 2 hrs!!! I was soooo worried that she kena kidnapped lahh!!! :S
9) And then we had to trudge all the way back to Pollock's to get her internet access key - only to find later on that she could have gotten the keys delivered to her doorstep!! >.<
